Automate your OIG/GSA Exclusion List Checks (required monthly)

This service will be used to run automated background checks on all learners under a customer’s NCPDP at Good Neighbor Pharmacy University. The goal of this program is to reduce risk and mitigate liability should any customer discover that one of their associates is excluded by OIG or GSA. Anyone who hires an individual or entity on the List of Excluded Individuals. Entities may be subject to:

  • Monetary penalties of up to $10,000 for each item furnished by the excluded person
  • An assessment of up to three times the amount claimed
  • Exclusion from the program

      Hazard Communication: Staying Safe in the Workplace (required yearly)       Bloodborne Pathogens and Biomedical Waste in the Pharmacy (required yearly)       FWA Prevention and General Compliance in the Pharmacy (required yearly)    
      Shows learners how to read and make sense of required labeling and minimize the risk from handling hazardous chemicals in the workplace.       Due to OSHA requirements, pharmacies must provide annual training on minimizing the dangers for any employees who have the potential of occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.       Satisfies training most plan sponsors require FDRs to complete to reduce liability; reduces risk of pharmacy violations.

      Pharmacy and other retail workforce members who have access to protected health information (PHI) are now required to receive training specific to that individual’s job role, acknowledge company Policies & Procedures, and demonstrate comprehension of the HITECH Act.       In this course, you'll learn how retailers can play a vital role in helping local law enforcement stop methamphetamine production.       This course explores cultural competency and how to interact effectively with people from different cultures. Effectively training staff on cultural competency can result in better understanding, communication, and effective interactions across multiple cultural backgrounds.
